Lisa Arnott is a contemporary jewellery designer, artist, educator and researcher based in Edinburgh.

About Lisa

Lisa's work combines traditional and classic jewellery techniques with contemporary approaches to material and metal. 

With a BA Hons Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art, Lisa received an Outstanding Distinction in Master in Fine Arts (majoring in metalwork and jewellery) from the international recognised jewellery school at Sheffield Hallam University.

She has exhibited throughout the UK and Internationally and is Principal Tutor at SilverHub Jewellery School where she teaches jewellery design and co-teaches on the one-year foundation course.

Lisa lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland.

 Design Education

Lisa is the founding Director of SilverHub Studios where she teaches jewellery design education courses. As a qualified educator, the courses enable students to discover their creative abilities through the act of making.

Research

As a researcher Lisa has extensive knowledge in socially engaged craft-based practice and has coordinated and managed various socially engaged projects in Scotland and Australia.
